Devon County Council gratefully acknowledges the generous support offered by the following organisations in the construction and development of the Devon Drivers' Centre (DDC). DDC's unique status within the UK as a dedicated, at-cost driver training facility - operated by a local authority and wholly in the interests of community road safety - is as much the product of private sector support and enthusiasm as it is a product of the vision and drive of Devon County Council. DDC exists as testimony to what can be achieved in the interests of the community when successful partnerships are formed at critical stages in the development of a new and innovative service.
