“Learn thru’ fun”

Available to both companies and social groups, these events offer participants a flavour of some of the training available here at Devon Drivers’ Centre as well as some slightly more unusual aspects of driving. The emphasis is on fun, but underpinning this is an element of learning.

Events can be run on a full or half-day basis. To get the most from the event, we recommend a maximum of 12 participants for a half-day and 18 participants for a full day.

Events are group-centred (three per activity), enabling participants to choose from and experience the following activities:

• Skid Control
• Driving a large goods vehicle or coach
• 4 x 4 experience (not available during May)
• Advanced Driving Demonstrations, Assessments & Training
• Driver skill competitions (car, car + trailer, minibus)
• “Back seat driving” (the driver is blindfolded and guided by the rear seat passengers)
• “Awkward” automatic

Refreshments are readily available and, if required,  catering can be arranged and supplied. We can also arrange for prizes for best in category and best participant overall.
