The Strategic Environmental Assessment of the Devon Local Transport Plan 2006-11
The Devon Local Transport Plan 2006-2011 has been identified as a plan that is subject to the requirements of European Directive 2001/42/EC “on the assessment of the effects of certain plans and programmes on the environment”, known as the Strategic Environmental Assessment or SEA Directive.
Accordingly, a Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) is being carried out in association with the Devon Local Transport Plan 2006-11 development process. The aims of the SEA are to:
