What do I need to learn?
This page provides you with tools to help identify your role-specific learning and development needs and ways in which to address those needs. You can use this page to identify your development needs in your current role or to help you identify the areas that you will need to focus on for a future role. Find the role that you are interested in below you will be able to access two useful tools:
- A Skills and Knowledge Audit for the role. This tool will enable you to identify the key skills and knowledge required for a role and to assess your capability against them. This can be done on your own or with your Line Manager.
- A Milestone Training Plan for the role. This tool provides a menu of suggested learning and development activities to help you address the learning needs identified in the Skills and Knowledge Audit. This can be used in Supervision and Appraisal to agree a personal development plan.
These tools are based on the Job-Specific Competency Frameworks that have been developed.
