- Consultation launched on residential and nursing home individually negotiated (non banded) fees We are now carrying out a consultation with providers on individually negotiated care home fees. View a copy of the letter here (143KB - pdf help) The consultation runs from Tuesday 3 April to Sunday 15 April 2012, and we will announce our decision shortly after this date, once we evaluated all the feedback received and made any final amendments. - Capital investment fund We are pleased to announce an £800,000 capital investment fund, in addition to our fee rates setting process, to promote and target investment in dementia-specific care. Details will be announced shortly, and we look forward to working with a number of providers who can use this fund as a seed-corn finance for service developments that we believe are currently under-represented in the market.
- Local HealthWatch: From April 2012 Local Involvement Networks (LINks) will be replaced by Local HealthWatch as a health and social care 'consumer champion'. We are conducting a public survey to inform our planning for the procurement of a HealthWatch organisation and providers are encouraged to complete the survey.
