On Wednesday 13 January 2010 the County Council Cabinet accepted proposals to begin a consultation with service users, staff and other stakeholders, to seek their views on the potential plans. to make changes to home care and day services.

11/01/2010 Council to consult on proposals to update and improve home care services

Residential Services Review

On Tuesday 3 November 2009 Devon County Council's Cabinet Meeting accepted a report from ACS seeking agreement to commence formal consultation processes about staffing levels in Older Peoples Residential Homes, and proposals following a review of Adult & Community Learning.

On 19 November this decision was considered by Devon County Council's Health & Adults Services Overview Scrutiny Committee who recommended no changes.  Formal implementation of the original decision therefore commenced after the Cabinet on 24 November.
