Green Close in Sidford used to be a 44 place residential home for physically frail older people. In partnership with the NHS, Green Close now delivers a range of services to help people maintain their independence.

There are 23 places, 16 of which provide rehabilitation or intermediate care. There are two long stay places, three for respite care and two for recuperation; where people are not ill enough to be in hospital but too ill to go home.

A rehabilitation service at Green Close provides two Physiotherapists and one Physiotherapy Assistant, two Occupational Therapists, two Community Care Workers and one Rehabilitation Practice Manager. Around 25 Care Assistants are based at Green Close.
