The Axcess Employment Service (previously the Nicholls Employment Service), provides employment and training opportunities for adults with learning disabilities in Exeter.

Based at Exeter Community Centre on St David's Hill and on Polsloe Road, the Service operates valuable 'on the job' training through:

• a community cafe
• the Window Box shop
• a sandwich making service
• Grumbleweeds, a landscaping and garden maintenance service

and provides courses in:

• Industrial skills
• Employability
• Information Communications Technology (ICT)

Damon Hill launched the Axcess Employment Service in June 04 praising the opportunities given to the 64 people using the Service.
