An interim research report
(916KB - pdf help) was produced in September 2010 by the University of Plymouth, this presentation shows some of their initial findings.
We would like to help you to identify carers and promote checks – if you have room in your reception areas and would like to borrow one of these ten sets of smart pull-up displays, on short term loan (One or two weeks), please telephone the office on 01392 825756 or email h.spackman@westbankfriends.org to order fliers and posters.
They will also be on loan to libraries, supermarkets and other venues where carers may see them. Participating practices have leaflets already but we have designed a more general flier
(2.65MB - pdf help) to go with the new displays and a poster
(2.31MB - pdf help) for where space is too limited for a large display.

The booklet, leaflets, posters and other material were designed by Stephanie Cheesman - ACS Public Information & Communication Team and were specially praised by the Department of Health and other participating local authorities. Many people contributed to the final content including Carers, Public Health, Drug & Alcohol Action Team (DAAT) and GP practice staff.
We are especially proud that Stephanie won a 'Cream of Devon' staff achievement award for this work after being nominated by Clare Cotter, Programme Lead.
