The Devon Adult and Community Learning Service currently works with a number of community groups in local partnerships, supporting the educational needs of local communities. Support can be offered in a number of ways and depends on the particular needs of the organisation we are working with.

We can often provide a bespoke course for a community group. Some organisations have identified the learning needs of their group, have their own resources (e.g. venue, funds) but seek our help because they need a qualified tutor. Others have everything in place, including fully qualified teaching staff, but seek financial assistance.

Devon Adult and Community Learning is committed to working in partnership with organisations in the statutory and voluntary sector to increase learning opportunities for adults to deliver service priorities and is a lead partner in the Devon Community learning Partnership.
