Message from The Principal Adult and Community Learning Officer

We are all aware of the current economic situation and many of us will be affected by changing circumstances.  In order to put as much resource into learning as possible we have decided to produce a more cost effective version of our brochure.  Although it is now in black and white print rather than colour, it still contains a wide range of learning opportunities.

We will continue to offer a varied programme that will help you to improve your skills, build confidence or gain qualifications. We will offer courses at different times of day and in different centres to give as wide a choice as possible.

You could try something new or progress to a higher level from a course you have already undertaken. Whatever you choose we will try to give you the very best support possible. You will find information about our support services in this brochure, please contact us if you do need help.

Our commitment to quality and innovation has been the driving force behind the ever-evolving programme of courses offered by Devon Adult and Community Learning. The programme is offered in partnership with the Skills Funding Agency which allows us to subsidise all courses and offer some free. This also enables us to offer courses with reduced fees for learners in receipt of benefits. Our aim is to support local people who want to learn.

If you need further advice or information or want to enrol by telephone please ring the ‘My Devon’ service on 0845 1551014.

Alternatively you can find further information on the pages of this website.
