Financial Support

We offer a range of funds to support indivdual learners to access our programmes.

Learner Support Funds

Financial support towards travel costs, childcare cost, carer cost, exam/accreditation fees and resource/equipemnt costs. Further details are available in the Learner Support Funds Application (see Key Publications)

Available to learners who are;

  • at least 19 years of age,
    and
  • in receipt of Means Tested Benefit
    (or unwage dependent in receipt of Means Tested Benefit),
    and
  • enrolled on a Further Eductaion course (Aqua course code ending with an "X").

Hardship Funds

Financial support towards course fees may be available to learners who are;

  • enrolled on an ILLS course or FE course (Aqua course code ending with an "X"),
    and
  • have a household income below £15,050 and do not receive a Means Tested Benefit,
    and
  • are in receipt of Incapacity Benefit.

Concessions

Concession are offered to those on Means Tested Benefit and to those aged 60 years or over, according to the type of course they are on,
