Major Improvements for Newton Abbot Library and Adult Education Centre.

Due to unforeseen problems caused by the historic significance and age of the building, completion of modernisation and improvement works have been delayed until Easter Time 2012. Devon Adult and Community Learning and Newton Abbot Library are currently based at Teign House, Kingsteignton Road, Newton Abbot. TQ12 2QG until they return to Market Street to the newly named "Passmore Edwards Centre"

We apologise for the inconvenience that this later opening causes, but will continue to provide adult education classes through our temporary home at Teign House.

The Hayridge Centre - Cullompton Library and Community Hub is now open with two brand new learning suites!

Figures reveal the new centre is proving a hit with the community,.having welcomed over 16,000 visitors since it opened its doors to the public. The development replaced two existing council buildings in the town, the library and the adult learning centre, with a purpose built 21st century environment for information, advice, learning and culture.
