At the end of the training day the participant will:

• Raise their awareness of the definition of abuse

• Increase their knowledge of the indicators of abuse

• Increase their understanding of values and belief systems that influence practice

• Increase their awareness of responding to abuse

• Increase their awareness of good practice in order to reduce risks

• Increase their understanding of roles in the adult protection process
