In developing and reviewing policies, plans, processes and procedures for each of the support service areas in Part 4 it will be necessary to undertake Equality Impact Assessments. This is to ensure that services are delivered fairly and effectively to all sections of the community. Where discriminatory practice is identified, action will need to be taken to promote equality of opportunity, eliminate discrimination and promote good relations between different community groups.
