Devon Link
Devon Link was Devon County Council's regular magazine for disabled people and carers in Devon. Since the first issue in 1984, the magazine's mix of real people interviews, thought-provoking features, letters, and the most useful local information proved popular with Devon's disabled people and carers. Although Devon Link was funded and produced by Devon County Council (with additional funding from Torbay Council), the contents of the magazine was determined by its readers and a team of disabled correspondents based around the county – as well as the editor. Unfortunately, earlier this year Devon County Council made the difficult decision to stop producing Devon Link after the Spring 2010 issue, as it is no longer viable to continue to fund the magazine in its current format.
