What is the South West Adult Placement Scheme (SWAPS)?

The South West Adult Placement Scheme - also known as SWAPS - is an organisation providing Adult Placements in the South West of England. SWAPS is a registered charity and a not for profit company. It currently operates within the geographical area of Devon and Cornwall.

SWAPS is a member of the National Association of Adult Placement Schemes (NAAPS). It is also registered with the Commission for Social Care Inspection (CSCI).

SWAPS supports placements for vulnerable and disabled people over the age of 18 who may have learning disabilities, mental health problems and/or physical disabilities and for older people.
