Generally money cannot be given to carers to pay for them to have a holiday (occasionally some charities may be prepared to do this). However, it may be possible for some of the accommodation costs for the cared-for person to be paid for, as an alternative to a short stay in a residential or nursing home. It may also be possible for the care which you may be receiving at home, for example, help getting the cared-for person up and dressed in the morning, to be arranged at the venue of your holiday, if this takes place in Britain.
