SIMS Upgrade Service

Regular updates that are released by Capita ED can prove time consuming to install. Scomis offers a solution to this with the SIMS Remote Upgrade Service. The SIMS Remote Upgrade Service allow Scomis to remote in to the schools admin workstation and carryout periodic upgrades to the SIMS system. This will be done each time Capita release an upgrade. This service involves the implementation by Scomis of each SIMS Upgrade onto the Customer's ICT Infrastructure via the remote link. The Scomis Service Desk will agree a start time for each SIMS upgrade with the Customer. The upgrade is started, its progress monitored and subsequently tested by Scomis. In the event of a problem, Scomis Service Desk staff will attempt to resolve the issue remotely in a timely manner to complete the SIMS upgrade in one session. These SIMS upgrades may be undertaken outside the Customer's working day to reduce down time of the Customer's ICT system. |
