FAO Personalised Learning Services (PRUs)
CAPITA have just released Fileset 92 which will correct the following errors: 1855, 1926, 2610, 2615Q* and 2620. ScoMIS will be applying the Fileset to the Terminal Server data shortly. In the meantime if you’re sure your data is correct you can ignore these error messages. *You may need to add a note in COLLECT concerning this query.
Error 2380 Where dwelling is present street must also be present ...
As I said in my notes the DfE reintroduced this error but have now decided NOT to include it within the COLLECT system so if the information is true ie there is no Street for the address this error can be ignored. Any other address errors will be true and should be corrected (you may need to go into Modify address to see why the information has failed).
Errors 1858 and 1852 concerning Hours at Setting and Funded Hours.
If your data is correct and you are a school that is responsible for your own upgrades or who buys into the Upgrade service from ScoMIS you will need to download Fileset 90 from ScoMIS website (go to the FAQ section and search for filesets) and then import it via Tools | Setups | Import Filesets, ensure the filepath is set to SIMS\Manifest Files, import the file and run the Create and Validate again to get rid of the error. Schools on Terminal Server should find that Fileset 90 has already been applied but if you do get this error simply import the fileset again and run the Create and Validate
Year Actual in Classes Panel (Primary and Secondary Schools only) If more than one teacher is allocated to a class, the system reports the class as being Mixed Year. In some cases this may be true but in others you may need to amend the Year group for the class from the drop down list. (Please be aware that if there are 2 teachers because they are a ‘job-share’ only 1 of them is likely to be in the class at the selected time and this would also need to be edited.)
Error in Table 7 Attendance Information on the Summary.
The School Census is collecting attendance code Y (Unable to attend due to exceptional circumstances – not counted in possible attendances) for statutory age pupils in the previous Autumn Term. Unfortunately due to a technical error it is being shown as being included in possible attendances and as an absence in Table 7. Therefore, Table 7 will show artificially inflated figures and should be ignored. The Detail Report for Attendance and the School Census information will contain the correct information.

Pupil Forecast Sheet (Appendix A)
The Pupil Forecast Sheets now includes an additional tab called FSM. It is for completion by all Devon LA Maintained schools and establishments (there is a special version for Nursery and Special Schools and Pupil Referral Units who do not provide forecast information). Schools are asked to provide monthly totals of Free School Meals taken in 2011. You must provide the data for September 2011 to December 2011 inclusive and wherever possible the information for January 2011 to July 2011. The data is required so that you can receive the School Meal element of your school budget share. It is essential that schools hold this data so that you can be sure you have been charged correctly by your Free School Meals provider. If you have not had any pupils taking Free School Meals last year/term please complete and return the confirmation element of the form.
