All serving headteachers of Devon primary schools are members of DAPH and are strongly encouraged to attend the Briefing sessions which are recognised as the forum for the communication of key messages on issues affecting schools. The Briefings, which are three times a year, across four regional venues, are free of charge to members and are usually held in the morning followed by lunch and an afternoon session.
There is a regular update from the Head of Education & Learning plus other invited guests and the opportunity for headteachers to ask questions, provide feedback, as well as discuss and share views on matters affecting school leadership.
Local Partnership Forum Meetings – Various dates
Having replaced the former DAPH Council meetings, DAPH Representatives from Local Learning Communities attend these termly events which are chaired by Sue Clarke, Strategic lead for Achievement through Collaboration.
As an Association, these meetings are an important link between DAPH and Local Learning Communities for two way communication as well as the opportunity to share best practice or conversely identify common areas of concern. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all DAPH representatives who have attended and contributed to this agenda.
Dates of informal meetings are publicised in the DAPH Update.
