Appendix C – New/enhanced systems checklist
This checklist is for the CYPS ICT Strategy Group to use to approve all new systems and/or enhancements to existing systems:

1.1 Is the system e-GIF compliant? 1.2 Does the system comply with the government Connect programme and standards? |

| 2. | Corporate standards – mandatory: |
1.1 Does the system comply with DCC’s Common Solutions Architecture? 1.2 Does the system comply with DCC’s category 1 access layer standard? |

| 3. | Options appraisal – consider in sequence and stop the process when you get a ‘yes’ answer: |
3.1 Can the solution be delivered by an existing corporate system? 3.2 Can the solution be delivered by an existing CYPS core system such as Capita EMS? 3.3 Can the solution be delivered by an existing CYPS specialist system? 3.4 Can the solution be delivered by a partner system? 3.5 Is there a new and innovative technology solution which could be used? 3.6 Is there an in-house developed option to consider? |
