Devon Music Service will be working in partnership with Exeter Cathedral in Spring 2007, to deliver a singing pilot scheme involving 270 children from four Exeter Primary Schools.  Schools involved are Ladysmith Junior School, Stoke Hill Junior School plus Countess Wear Community School and Topsham School who will be working collaboratively, .  Stephen Tanner from Exeter Cathedral will be leading the project which will consist of three monthly visits to each school [Jan, Feb, March].  On the third visit, Stephen will be accompanied by Choristers from Exeter Cathedral.  The final concert will take place in Exeter Cathedral 17th March 2006 between 4.30pm - 5.30pm and the programme will contain 3/4 sung items by all 270 children plus other items from the schools and Choristers.  We sincerely hope that this pilot project will lead to the formation of a County Youth Choir.
