A regular weekly drumming session in school time for a selected group of Y8 pupils. Beginning with pulse work and exercises, pupils will be taught some of the basic strokes in playing djembe, learning a variety of rhythms and playing different parts at times. We will aim to put together a simple piece with an introduction, a variety of rhythms, and a clear ending.
