This year Devon Music Service will offer two orchestral workshop sessions to all deaf and hearing impaired children around Devon.

Continuing on from our successful workshops in Autumn 2008 and early Spring 2009 at King Edward V1 Community College in Totnes, East the Water Primary School in Bideford and Countess Wear Primary School in Exeter, in the Spring and Summer term 2010 we aim to run two orchestral workshops.  

At these sessions, hearing impaired and deaf children will be given the opportunity to try out 2 instruments for half a day each from either strings, brass, woodwind or percussion.  It is hoped that the children will then be able to select an instrument they would be keen to continue on with.
