Cuban Project
This term the Cuban project enters phase two with the visit of acclaimed Cuban group Asere, who will be working with students in years 10 & 11 at Teignmouth Community College; Park School, Barnstaple; West Exe Technology College; and KEVICC, Totnes.
Year two will be extending what students have already learnt in year one from their preliminary Cuban project with Siga La Salsa and Salsa Corazon.
The day will involve an inspirational introductory performance so the children can see the instruments working in context, students will then work with individual instrumentalists before coming back to the school hall at the end of the day to present a collaborative performance.
Asere will also be working with Spanish GCSE students as part of a cross curricular opportunity.
