Ukulele Workshop (Intermediate) - Pupils taking part will need their own ukulele. Richard Durant from the Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain will be leading these ukulele workshops open to pupils who have completed the Devon Ukulele course and have learned the chords C, F, G7, Am, Dm and the notes A, B and C on the top string. They should be able to play a simple melody with those 3 notes, and cope with 3 and 4 chord songs. 90 workshop participants
Ocarina Workshops (introductory) - Can you breathe through your mouth? Can you move the scissor fingers (next to your thumb)? Well you can play tunes then. Everyone should be tunerate and ocarinas are the easiest tune-making instruments in the world.
