Siga La Salsa is a 7 piece salsa dance band, inspired by the music of Buena Vista Social Club. Through the lyricism of ‘Dos Gardenias’, the classic salsa groove of ‘Mecanica de Amor’ and the frenetic rhythms of the Merengue, Siga La Salsa have been spicing up dance events in South Devon for years. Trumpet and authentic Spanish vocals weave over congas, timbales, piano and bass. The result is an eclectic mix of Cuban and Brazilian songs, presented with warmth and passion; irresistible to both experienced and novice dancers. A must for dance fans and music lovers alike!  

The band consists of our singer Maite who also plays percussion along with Jane who also plays Saxaphone. Ben and John play percussion and Tim plays trumpet with Mike on Piano and Ian on Bass.
