Schools and Colleges have additional days when they will not be open to pupils. These are training days and occasional days which are determined by the Governing Bodies each establishment. They are subject to change and addition as circumstances dictate. For example, it may be agreed with the Local Authority that a school needs to be closed due to emergency building works.
