Context
The service provider will offer access to additional educational psychology services to all Devon primary, secondary and special schools and maintained educational settings. This service will be in addition to and will complement the core educational psychology service to children and young people provided by the Local Authority Children and Young People’s Educational Psychological Service.
Services to be provided
A specialist educational psychology service that provides consultation, advice and support to schools and settings to enhance their capacity to include and support the emotional wellbeing and achievement of all children and young people, especially those with complex difficulties.
The service must offer educational psychology input at individual child or family level and at school organisation or setting level and all work must comply with the Code of Conduct and Charter of the British Psychological Society/Code of Professional Practice of the Association of Educational Psychologists.

Statutory Requirements
Service deliverers must be fully qualified professional educational psychologists who hold an Honours Degree in psychology, a postgraduate qualification in Educational
Psychology and are Chartered or eligible to be chartered by the British Psychological Society.
All staff must have successfully completed and enhanced Criminal Records Bureau check.
