Children and Young People’s Services (CYPS) now has a publications team to help produce information for the public and for directorate and partnership publications. We are here to make sure that the right information is in the right place at the right time for children and families in Devon. We provide a range of services, including:

• a plain English service for any text
• proofreading and copyediting
• design and production of information including newsletters, leaflets and marketing
• advice on the best way to produce information
• advice and support on producing information in alternative formats
• support and advice on branding and logo use
• advice on producing information for children and young people
• creation and maintenance of an on-line publications database
• a photography service and photograph library (See Photography Service).

We aim to ensure that all documents which are designed for the public meet our corporate public information guidelines, branding and standards, and that our information is always corporate, consistent and clear.
