Deferred Member
If you contribute to the LGPS for more than 3 months, then leave your employment your pension will be preserved for you. This is known as a deferred or preserved benefit. These benefits are usually brought into payment on your 65th birthday. Please keep us informed of your current address and any changes to your personal circumstances so we can pay you promptly . You can use the online services section below to tell us of any changes we need to know.
