**Please note that night storage heaters containing asbestos need to be double wrapped in plastic and sealed, and pre-authorised with Devon County Council. Please call 0845 155 1010 for further information.

- DIY waste: 12 large bags/0.5 tonnes in 6 month period (EXCLUDES soil/rubble, plasterboard, asbestos, tyres - see Chargeable below)
- Household chemicals (e.g. pesticides, white spirit, bleach, old medicines, oil-based paint): 5 litres in 12 months
- Gas bottles (4KB - pdf help)
- Fluorescent tubes: 5 in 6 month period
- Food: acceptable by arrangement only, please contact your local district/city council in the first instance
- Noxious weeds (606KB - pdf help)
Chargeable
- Soil/Rubble (including bricks, blocks, tiles, paving slabs, concrete posts, sanitary ware etc)
- Plasterboard (including plaster and gypsum related products)

Non-acceptable
- Commercial/trade waste (green waste and cardboard chargeable by arrangement only, see Trade Recycling)
- Sharps/clinical items: please contact your local district/city council
- Animals/animal bedding
Reuse
Reusable goods are set aside/salvaged for re-use at this Recycling Centre. Due to space constraints, items are not offered for sale on site, but may be purchased at Steptoes Market, 8 Trusham Road, Marsh Barton EX2 8QH

The site is on Marsh Barton Industrial Estate. Travelling out of Exeter along the Alphington Road, take the left turn (Marsh Barton Road) into the estate. Pass under the railway bridge, past the Ford Garage and the Peugeot Garage on the left. Take the next left turn, Exton Road, and site is on the right just before the road narrows.
