Why not join the Grand Western Canal Country Park Ranger Service for one of its Volunteer Days. Come along, join in and get some fresh air and exercise whilst taking part in some practical habitat management.

No experience is necessary as full instruction will be given. All tools are provided. Just bring along appropriate outdoor clothing and footwear, plus any food and drink you will need for the day. Most volunteers stay all day, but even just a few hours of your time will help! There is no obligation to stay, if you decide it’s not for you then you are free to leave.Volunteer days provide an ideal opportunity for you to meet the Ranger team and other volunteers.
