Devon not only has amazing hedges, amongst the best in the world, but we also have a great variety of different types of hedge.
The Devon Hedge Group would really like your help please in making a map of the county showing this great variety. Can you please tell us what makes the hedges in your part of Devon distinctive?
The map will celebrate the diversity of the county's hedges, help conserve local distinctiveness, and assist in keeping local hedge management skills and traditions alive.
The Group, with funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund and Devon County Council, has asked Land Use Consultants to produce the map. Follow the link to fill in the questionnaire and help us find out more about Devon's distinctive hedges.
