Devon Green Infrastructure Strategy
This page includes the draft strategy and related documents that were subject to public consultation from October 10th to December 9th 2011. The consultation has now closed and we aim to produce an updated Devon Green Infrastructure Strategy in spring 2012.
Green Infrastructure Mapping
The draft green infrastructure strategy and its analysis used a geographic information system (GIS) to identify the assets and opportunities for green infrastructure in Devon. For those requiring more detailed information about which datasets were used and who provided them, a separate mapping report has been prepared. The mapping report is available here (1.85MB - pdf help).
Due to compression of the documents to make them suitable for viewing on the internet, the quality of the maps within the draft strategy has been degraded. In order to provide as much clarity as possible, the maps are provided individually below.
Additional evidence and information has been produced to support the draft Green Infrastructure Strategy. This takes the form of topic papers, which are available by clicking on the links below.
Environmental Assessment of the Green Infrastructure Strategy
A scoping investigation was carried out to see whether or not the strategy would require a Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) or Sustainability Appraisal (SA). The scoping report reported that neither of these are required. The SEA / SA scoping report can be viewed here (30KB - pdf help).
