Marriages

Devon's registration offices

Photo - Flowers

The Registration Service in Devon is able to offer a number of wedding facilities either in its own Ceremony Rooms or Additional Ceremony Rooms or in properties which have been approved for the holding of civil ceremonies. These facilities which are regularly available for civil ceremonies range from the traditional to the modern. If you would like to view any of the Service's ceremony facilities please contact the local Registration Office.  Staff will be happy to arrange an appointment with you. Information concerning approved premises and the viewing of those facilities should be arranged with the approved premise. Details of Devon County Council's Registration Offices within the county (excluding Plymouth and Torbay) are shown below.

Devon Registration Service strive to ensure that couples choosing to marry in its area receive not only individual and professional attention, together with a choice of location, but an opportunity to enhance their ceremony by including appropriate readings and/or musical interludes. These enhancements, as long as they do not include any religious element, should be discussed with the Senior Registration Officer who will be conducting the ceremony.  Choices for Registration Office ceremonies are however limited.

Please check with the local Registration Office that the layout of rooms or premises shown in the following photographs have not changed.
