If you plan to register your civil partnership at an approved venue, you should ensure that a civil partnership registrar is available before making any firm booking. The facilities and services offered by approved venues and their costs are matters for discussion and agreement between you, your partner and the venue concerned.

A Registration Service attendance fee, payable at least four weeks prior to the date of registration, is required. This fee, which the civil partnership registrar will be able to confirm at the time of your enquiry, is in addition to the statutory fees payable when you give your notices of civil partnership and any fees payable to the venue concerned.
