The Teignbridge Community Planning Alliance (ext PDF) is the Local Strategic Partnership for the District. It meets approximately quarterly and comprises representatives from all sectors of the community. A first Community Strategy is being prepared for consultation and publication in March 2003.

This will be accompanied by a work programme for the LSP and its partners, that reflects the priorities of the community strategy and will be subject to annual review.

Project groups are established as necessary and formal links are agreed as appropriate with other strategic partnerships such as those dealing with economic development, health improvement or community safety.
