This information will eventually be disseminated throughout the rest of the website, but for now we will concentrate on keeping this particular page as up to date as possible.

• New Pension Scheme News - In order to keep news updates as simple and clear as possible, we have decided to move all news pertaining to the new scheme to this dedicated page. The main 'News' page will concentrate solely on non-New Scheme issues from now on.

• "Changes to the Local Government Pension Scheme" - a newsletter produced by ourselves which aims to inform you of all the important changes being introduced by the introduction of the New Local Government Pension Scheme (you will need Microsoft Word or the appropriate viewer in order to view this document).

• Cohabiting Partners Form - The new LGPS regulations introduce a new provision for the payment of benefits to a surviving civil partner or nominated cohabiting partner. In order to guarantee that your partner is provided for in the event of your death, you MUST inform us of your wishes using this form (you will need Microsoft Word or the appropriate viewer in order to view this document).
  
  NB: The form must be signed by both scheme member and nominated partner, so please do not complete the form online.

• New Scheme FAQ's - A collection of Frequently Asked Questions which should hopefully match those of your own and help explain certain aspects of the new look pension scheme.

• New Regulations - If you prefer to go to the source information, the new regulations have finally been made available. The regulations have been released in stages; each stage covering a slightly more specific area than one, all encompassing release (please note that as of yet, there has been no further clarification of the "85 Year Rule" protections; we would hope to see further updates sometime in the near future).
