Devon Pension Services administers the Local Government Pension Scheme for scheme employers in Devon. The employers who belong to the scheme cover a broad spectrum of local government employment; from District and Unitary councils, to smaller Parish councils, Further Education establishments and local service industries. We also administer the pension scheme for employees of Devon & Cornwall Police Authority. Please consult our Employing Bodies page for a more comprehensive listing.

The primary goal of the pension unit is to provide a professional, value for money service to the scheme employers and scheme members of the Devon Pension Fund.

New LGPS: Information Page

As a result of changes due to be introduced by the new Local Government Pension Scheme, we have decided to gather all information we have collected thus far and put it on to one, dedicated New LGPS: Information Page. Anyone who is paying into the scheme as of 1 April 2008 would be advised to spend some time familiarising themselves with the content of this information page.
