A competent and qualified workforce is crucial within today’s care sector to provide professional and high quality support to its service users.

Devon County Council, as an accredited NVQ centre, is experienced in the delivery of NVQ to support workforce development.  Some of our qualifications can be fully funded; others are largely subsidised to assist in the development staff within the independent and voluntary sector (this is subject to availability).

We have a candidate-led approach and work with each Candidate on an individual basis, planning his/her NVQ in relation to his/her experience, learning style and place of work.  Candidates can commence the programme at any time and assessment will take place in the work place.  Support training to assist the achievement of the award is available.
