Essential guide to North Devon bus times

From Pam Newby, Exeter 383262, October 08, 2007

THE winter edition of Devon County Council's free publication 'North Devon Bus Times' is now available.

It provides residents with comprehensive information regarding the different bus operators currently serving the area, many of which are under contract to the County Council.

Services listed in the guide include those to Barnstaple, Braunton, Ilfracombe, Lynton, Bideford, South Molton, Great Torrington, and Holsworthy.

Winter timetables have been introduced on services 300, 303, 308 and 319. The main service between Barnstaple and Bideford, service 1/2, has been revised. Service 3 between Barnstaple, Ilfracombe and Combe Martin has been revised.

Councillor Margaret Rogers, Devon County Council Executive Member for Environment, said: "The winter timetable is a useful source for anyone planning to use public transport to travel to work or for days out."

The guide is available from a number of outlets in the North Devon area, including libraries, post offices and tourist information centres.
