NHS Patient and Public Involvement Forums

Draft guidance on the work of these new bodies including their proposed relationship with Overview/Scrutiny Committees has been issued by the Commission for Patient and Public Involvement in Health (CPPIH).

The Department of Health has also published a short advice note describing the functions of  PPI Forums as well as NHS and Local Authority responsibilities in relation to them.
