Trainers:  Vicky Woodgate, Fostering Social Worker, and an experienced parent-and-child Foster Carer

Aims & Objectives:  By the end of the session the participants will be able to:

• Explore the different needs of parent  and child placements
• Explore  the context of care plans for children and families and the Court processes
• Explore issues around providing day to day care in a safe way
• Develop a whole team approach in working with a parent and child placement

This course is particularly applicable to foster carers who are involved in this type of placement, or are considering this area of fostering.
