Trainer: CAHMS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services)
Aims and Objectives: This two-day foundation level programme will provide an introduction to the mental health, social and emotional issues faced by children and young people. It will look at ways of promoting positive mental health and well-being, demystify mental health difficulties and explore the relationship between unmet needs and behaviour.

Maximum number for this course: there is 1 space available for a foster carer on each course.
This is a multi-agency training programme which provides a good opportunity for carers to train alongside teachers, health professionals and other social care staff. Please register your interest on the Training Application Form
