TACKLING DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND ABUSE - Level 1

Trainers:  Against Domestic Violence and Abuse

Aims and Objectives: By the end of the course participants will be able to:

  • Demonstrate an understanding of the impact of domestic violence and abuse within our society, and on individual adults and children
  • Demonstrate understanding about risk and safety in domestic violence and abuse
  • Offer victims/survivors appropriate help and support
  • Raise standards of practice both individually and collectively

Dates: Various

Time: 9 am - 4.30 pm

Venues: Various across the county

Maximum number for this course:  there are 2 spaces available for foster carers. This is a multi-agency course, please note that the arrangements have not been finalised.
