Aims and Objectives of the course:

• to look at the framework used for assessment and care planning for children in care
• to look at the role of foster carers in making placements for children and young people in Devon’s care successful
• to explore working in partnership with parents, children and young people’s services, education, health and others involved in the care and well being of children and young people in care.
• to explore the foster carer’s role in supporting and promoting contact
