M@x with his bikeHello again! Have to say that it was great to meet some of you at the FootballerDevon County Show. Hopefully, if I behave myself, I’ll be allowed to come out with the library staff to meet some more of you another time.

Honestly, it’s mad in our house at the moment. Dad went to see Exeter City play football at Wembley and now he’s planning our whole summer around sporting events!

Tennis BallHe’s starting with Wimbledon in June, although Mum likes some of the male players so she won’t mind that.

Then it’s the Grand Prix in July which I’m looking forward to. Mum says it’s noisy so she’ll take my sister shopping while me and my Dad watch it on TV.

Beijing Olympics 2008The Test Match is in July as well but Mum says we’re not sitting around for 5 days watching a cricket match. Dad said he’ll help me with my bowling this summer so we can go and do that and have the radio on outside. Sneaky eh!

August is the Olympics. Sport for everyone! You name it, it’ll be happening. Mum even likes to watch.

Dad says he’ll take me with him and teach me how to play golf in the summer as well, so after we've watched the Open in July... I’ll understand what’s going on (I hope!).

Mum says she doesn’t mind as long as I still get books from the library so here’s a few Hot Books for the Summer - or check out my Xtreme Reads.
