This month I'm featuring the Raving Readers from Dawlish Library. There they are just below raving about books! Anyway they've been reading loads of stuff and doing tonnes of fun activities too. If you want to join a book club have a look for your nearest one and give them a ring. Or you could even organise your own book club at home. Librarians don't even mind if you want to have your meeting in the library, but remember to tell them first if there's going to be a lot of you!

The Raving Readers club at Dawlish Library has been running for a few months now. They meet on the first Thursday of each month 4 - 5pm. Most of the children that attend are between 8 – 12 years of age.

Come along and you can help decide which book or author that everyone will read for the next club. There’s loads of cool stuff to do, like making desk plaques, decorating bookmarks, and doing fun quizzes together.

It’s great fun and a good chance to find out about new books and authors.

There’s no need to book, so just come along and join in the fun!
